August 28th, 02:37 AM: Okay so as Kanuck requested, I have posted a thread on how you can fix the gap with the M4 Foregrip (with D-Ring.. Example would be the M4 barrel kit from Rap4). Pictures and explanation will be up TOMORROW as I don't have a camera handy at the moment and it's running kinda late. Look out guys!

Also.. it's not the craziest mod in the world.. it's pretty simple but makes quite a difference with the gap problem.
UPDATE:
So here's the problem.. you've got that little gap between the X7's body and the foregrip.
1. Take your stock foregrip and put it up against your marker where the gap is. Then mark off where you will need to make the cut with a pencil/chalk.
2. After marking your stock foregrip use a power miter saw to cut through it. Also make sure that your stock foregrip is clamped onto the miter saw.
NOTE: DO NOT OPERATE POWER MITER SAW UNLESS YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND HOW TO USE IT. CONSULT A PROFESSIONAL IF NECESSARY.
3. Remove the resulting piece from the table after turning off the power miter saw.
4. Keep in mind that the part you've cut off will be in TWO pieces as there is no longer any screws holding them together.
(at this point you can glue the two pieces together to refrain from having to hold them together when attaching them to
your marker.)
5. Attach the two pieces to your marker using the push pins.
6. Make sure that your d-ring fits accordingly. If it does not, you will need to sand down your stock foregrip pieces a bit to ensure that it does. (I did not have to do so.)
Here are the ACTUAL measurements for anyone interested.
Well, that's about it. Again, it's a pretty simple mod, but it's pretty useful. Hope this helps you guys out if even a little bit
