Well, as some of you know I have been selling a service on here and the other OG sites through Liquid Dimension Imaging doing Hydro Printing.

Liquid Dimension Imaging deals in ATV's, Automobile parts, rifles, pistols, boats, semis, and as of late, paintball gear. Needless to say, he has been swamped.

So, LDI along with the sale of the quick dis-connects, I have branched off and started my own thing.

I am now Midwest Custom Paintball. I will not sell "Stock" pieces, only custom paintball items. Once things get rolling I will be selling pre-painted hoppers, tanks, and eventually, whole markers. I also hope to make a go of these quick dis-connects as well.

haha, well, considering that the quick disconnects used to be around $60 when Proline was selling them, and I'm letting them go for $45 shipped..........at least to the OG sites, anyways.

It's more than a custom paintjob. This is not a "by hand" paintjob. This is a pattern that is applied through hydro printing. Just google Hydro Imaging and you should find a few people that do it and have better explanations than I could give here.

Basically, it's the same process that you see every day on items such as:

~vehicle dash kits (woodgrain)
~rifles from the factory that are camo'd
~ATV's camo'd from the factory
~even the Opsgear marker that is being offered in Omnipat.

My google search of hydro imaging netted me this. It looks like a very interesting process!

Is it more durable than say Duracote?

How much would it be to Tiger stripe an X7?

Yup, he uses the same process. I couldn't really get a grasp on it until I actually watched it happen the first time.

I'll let you, and ONLY you in on a secret.......we use DuraCoat as our base, and then put the pattern on top! We do, however, add our own mix of things to the paint which allows us to paint masks, markers, hoppers....anything. Very strong, very durable, very cool.

Going off of the patterns that we have RIGHT HERE, I don't think Vietnam Era Tiger Stripe would be a problem. For a complete X7 with hopper, barrel, shroud, stock, mag, whatever else you have for it, you are looking at $200. We look for you to give us a 2-3 week time frame also so we can be sure the paint has had a chance to cure.
