Re: which mask

When I was looking for a new mask I was pretty sure that I was going to buy the JT ProFlex Revolution. Heard nothing but good things and have never had a problem with any of my previous JT purchases.

I really like the way they looked but upon getting them in my hand I was not impressed with the rubbery face shield or the way the sit on your face. When it comes to facemask/googles if it doesn't feel right you should never buy them IMO. So I tried on the Empire/Vents Thermal Avatar's and they fit like a glove. I have never had a problem with them fogging up I like the fact that they are smaller than a full cage.

Regardless of what you buy make sure they feel natural on your face/head. If they don't you always be uncomfortable and not playing up to your potential!.

Re: which mask

I love my events. They are very comfortable and only fogged under extreme conditions like when it just stopped raining and the sun came out. They also have a large viewing area. When i bought my vents it came with the mask, 2 visors (a short one and a brim) and 2 lenses on clear and one tinted. one of the lenses will be double layer thermal the other will just be a single lense. Its kind of random which one you get in thermal but mine and my buddies were both tinted.

Re: which mask

why do u guys say the flex is for noobs ive been playing for years and i use a flex only because of safety to the head....believe me i thought like u guys until i got shot in the head 2 feet far and believe me it hurts so those guys who say its for noobs....theres nothing wrong with being safe...but really if u dont know which mask to get just go to the store and try them both and see which do u feel more comfortable with....personally i like the flex...it offers head proteccion and 260 degree sighting also its close to ur face so u can aim with it ....also it has thermal lens too so it has the same as events......events are awesome mask too so its wat u prefer personally dude

Really not cool. I know people who have been knocked unconscious from being hit in the head at close range. There's nothing "noob" about getting a paintball helmet anymore than it's "noob" for skateboarders or snowboarders to wear helmets.

Haydn, try on a lot of masks and find one that's comfortable for you and provides the coverage you're looking for.
