Making a home made suppressor .... possible?how?
I've heard all about these cheap non-expensive home-made suppressor you just put on the end of a barrel, I don't have a flat-line, or anything fancy, just a 20 inch barrel, does anyone know how to make the suppressor? I've heard its just using kitchen brissil pads and duct tape, but I saw my brother do that 4 years back and i did not have ANY effect at all. Suggestions?

i think that haveing actuall sound surpressors even on a paintball gun are still illegal, though im not fully sure, so ild double check to make sure.
Now, most supressors are made of several small sections of pvc that fit around the barrel and each other. some have holes drilled out. And between the 2 pvc sections are usually some sort of soft foam or sponge material that absorbs some of the gas and sound. i dont know how much it really helps. i made mine out of an old airsoft silencer that just chopped up to fit my alpha black. heres a couple sites that should get you started. There are a lot of ways for making a silencer. I've made a few and I've put up a thread on one of em. I managed to make mine out of a bunch of crap I found lying around my house haha. Friggin fish tank cleaner parts.
Search silencer or suppressor in the search function. Also.. you can PM me, I'd be willing to help you out using whatever I know lol.

I dunno about US laws as they vary state to state but I know for a fact that in Canada it is 100% illegal to put any kind of functioning suppressor/silencer on anything INCLUDING a paintball marker.
Sumthin to be aware of.
