Re: NC/SC OG Regional game `08

Me, me, me! Oh wait, I have to be there dont I?

The game they just did was a bt smaller game then normal for MPP. Alot of the teams were saving up for D-Day. 2nd Armored is made up of quiet a few MPP players... But darn near everyone I have talked too said it was one of the best games they had played. So it is looking real good for the September game.

I am really looking forward to it. I want to get some group pictures to post up. Its gonna be alot of fun.

Re: NC/SC OG Regional game `08

ya The most recent game was great, it was the smallest MPP game I had ever played but I had a blast, even barely being able to walk.

and I am happy to say, 2nd MPP game in a row my team has walked with the MVT award

Re: NC/SC OG Regional game `08

What size crowd typically attends an MPP event?

Re: NC/SC OG Regional game `08

all that i have been to is 400-500, except this last one was 200+, but that was only because all local teams are saving for D-Day and what not next month.

But I think Ferg said he likes to cap it at like 500. but I personally like smaller games better, you meet people and teams on a more personal level

Re: NC/SC OG Regional game `08

Well to be honest there were two other reasons it was small. 1, we just had a scenario two weeks prior at CDP. So that kept some of our teams out of this one. It was Vietnam Patol and it is a rather popular game for our field. I think we ended up wit just under 400 at that one. And then the other reason was that the field PR person that normally puts out info on the games was a slack butt and was focused on getting info out on the Vietnam Patrol game. He got a late start on the MPP game. He, would be me, of course.

Then alot of the second armored people that do MPP as well as several of CDP's people that do the Commonwealth were trying to save up for the trek to Oklahoma.
