A5 shotgun
Alright, I've got some of it done... No pictures yet, but where I'm running into issues is how to get it to stop recocking itself after each shot. Just taking the o-ring off the hammer doesn't quite do it. It works, but it'll fire one time, then spudder, which in tern leads to chopping. How do I make it to where after that one shot, it completely stops. I saw THIS one, but he says in there it has a modified valve, and I'm not sure how I'd go about doing that.
Just for kicks, any suggestions for pump handles?

Re: A5 shotgun
I have seen like 2 or 3 A5 pumps picture wise but an actual operational one being used would be cool.

Re: A5 shotgun
I could see tape or heatshrink getting bound up on the pin and ripping itself apart in just a few strikes of the hammer. How about using JB weld or an epoxy do build out the OD of the pin - that way you don't risk mucking up a good valve? The valve pins are cheap to replace if you booger it up.
I did something similar to a Spyder valve pin for bolt action I once made. JB weld the pin, roughly round it with a file, then chuck it in a drill and work it with fine sandpaper until even across its length. Check the OD with a set of calipers to ensure the diameter is consistent and you should be good to go!
