Rufus Dawg Wicked Bolt for the X7

***I want to first say that I am in no way affiliated with Rufus Dawg***
***This is just my opinion***

Well, I'm not sure if this is the right place or not... But I have to post this!!!

This is probably the best upgrade I've ever bought for performance!!!

My main X7 has all of the TechT mods, lightning rod, QEPH, vortex, squishy paddles, etc, etc...

And before I installed this Rufus Dawg bolt and power tube I would chop paint just about every day I played... not every day, not every time... but often enough to be aggravating.

Last week I installed the Rufus Dawg Wicked bolt and tube and this past weekend I shot almost an entire case of paint... or maybe a little more than a case of paint... I'm not positive... but it was a lot of paint!

I went through a 4500psi 92ci tank and a 3000psi 72ci tank @ 18bps and played for about 4 hours straight in some high round games.

All I can say is WOW... this has to be the best $20-25 I've ever spent since I've been in to paintball!!!

If anyone has any question please feel free to ask.

Re: Rufus Dawg Wicked Bolt for the X7

This bolt was involved in a very detailed study and didnt prove to show dramatic results...I will have to find the link.

The product, Rufus Dawg Rufus Dawg Upgrade Kit Level 1 98 Custom/Custom Pro

But I am glad everything is working for you. Mine just recently started working flawlessly and it is a great feeling.

Maybe so... but the only study that I need is that one that didn't chop a single ball in over a case of paint... and I've tride 6 different ones that never performed this well.

Like I said... only my opinion... I do personally see how it would help though... it's not just a hollow bolt... it actually has a ball cradle...

Re: Rufus Dawg Wicked Bolt for the X7

Personally, I couldn't see spending $23 + Shipping for just the front bolt.
That's just my opinion. But, I'm glad it worked for ya!

Re: Rufus Dawg Wicked Bolt for the X7

He is correct...they sell it on tippmannparts.com and a little package for around 25 bucks. It is cheaper than others cause it is made from plastic instead of aluminum, but it claims to produce dramatic results.

It seems to work for boostin.

Re: Rufus Dawg Wicked Bolt for the X7

Hm my brother picked one of those up for his 98. Hasnt got out to test it out tho. I thought it was kinda lame cuz i never heard of it before. But now i see there are some good results.

Re: Rufus Dawg Wicked Bolt for the X7

i did notice that the consistancy of shots are somewhat better with a new bolt. Tho i do have the shocktech one in my old A-5. i see it as the air evenly hits the ball. The stock bolt doesn't have the inner O-ring and gas escapes backward and makes the air distribution on the ball uneven. This produces slightly more inconsistant results
